Dr. Jennifer Saracino, Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Saracino completed her Ph.D. at McGill University in 2011. She is a registered member in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario with approved practice in Clinical Psychology with children, adolescents, and adults (Registration #5752).
Dr. Saracino has a breadth of experience working with pediatric and adult populations in both community-based and hospital settings. She has extensive experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments and providing consultation and treatment to individuals with a variety of mental health, developmental, and learning needs. Dr. Saracino also has experience providing family consultation for behaviour management and social skill development. She also works with individuals with acquired brain injuries, chronic pain conditions, as well as children, adolescents, and adults on the autism spectrum.
Dr. Saracino provides psychological treatment using a variety of treatment modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) based on the needs of the client or family. She works with individuals struggling with a variety of mental health challenges, including those with anxiety and mood disorders and individuals suffering from posttraumatic stress, including First Responders and healthcare professionals.
In addition to her above training and experience, Dr. Saracino completed her certification in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through the world-renowned University of Michigan Autism and Communication Disorders Center (UMACC). She has also worked for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Autism Program while completing her doctoral training. Dr. Saracino provides comprehensive ASD assessments with children, adolescents, and adults using gold standard assessment practices. She also provides consultation to family members with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.
