  • Ms. Vardah Bharuchi, Psychological Associate

    Vardah Bharuchi is an Associate Psychologist (Supervised Practice) providing psychological assessment and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She works with a range of concerns including anxiety, mood difficulties, behavioural and developmental challenges, and adjustment to medical and life stressors.

    Vardah holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and brings extensive experience from The Aga Khan University, where she worked within pediatric hospital settings in clinical, teaching, and leadership roles. Her work has included supporting children and families navigating complex medical and psychological needs. Her research and scholarly work focus on pediatric mental health, play-based interventions, family wellbeing, and psychosocial support in medical settings, with peer-reviewed publications and international conference presentations.

    Her approach to therapy is collaborative, culturally responsive, and integrative. She draws on evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, gestalt therapy, acceptance and commitment thertapy, and person-centred therapy, along with expressive approaches such as play and sandplay therapy, tailored to each client’s needs. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association.
