Autism Spectrum Disorder
At the Lifespan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Clinic, we provide comprehensive assessment, consultation, and counselling supports to children, adolescents, and adults.
Comprehensive diagnostic assessments are conducted through the clinic using gold standard tools in the field of ASD assessment. This includes the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R).
In addition to assessment and diagnosis, the Lifespan ASD Clinic provides family consultation to help parents and caregivers best support the child’s individual needs. Social skills training is also provided through the clinic, as well as counseling sessions for children, adolescents, and adults on the spectrum.
Dr. Jennifer Saracino is the Clinical Director of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic. She underwent extensive training in ASD assessment and diagnosis through the world-renowned University of Michigan Autism and Communication Disorders Center (UMACC). She also worked in the Montreal Children’s Hospital Autism Program, prior to coming to Lifespan Psychological and Neuropsychological Services in 2010. She is joined by Dr. Angela Deotto and Dr. Elissa Dua, both of which have also completed additional training and certification in ASD diagnosis and treatment.
