Dr. Cherisse McKay, Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. McKay is a registered Psychologist in the province of Ontario, with specialization in the practice of Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. McKay completed her Masters and Doctoral degrees in the Clinical Psychology Program (Clinical Neuropsychology stream) at the University of Windsor. She is a certified assessor for Catastrophic Impairment – Mental Behavioural (C-CAT: MB) through the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators/Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CSME-CAPDA), as well as earning its designation of Certified Medicolegal Expertise (CMLE) in her purported fields of Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology.
Dr. McKay provides pediatric and adult neuropsychological and psychological assessment and consultation services for a variety of clinical populations. She provides clinical supervision and consultation for behaviour and rehabilitation therapists working in the community, as well as consultation with multidisciplinary team members regarding the neurobehavioural and psychosocial consequences of traumatic brain injury in children and adolescents. Finally, Dr. McKay is the Clinical Neuropsychologist on the FASD Diagnostic Team, which specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of FASD in children, adolescents, and adults.
