  • Dr. Jennifer Saracino, Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Saracino completed her Ph.D. at McGill University in 2011. She is a registered member in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario with approved practice in Clinical Psychology with children, adolescents, and adults (Registration #5752).

    Dr. Saracino has a breadth of experience working with pediatric and adult populations in both community-based and hospital settings. She conducts psychological, psychoeducational, and developmental assessments and provides consultation and treatment supports to individuals faced with a variety of challenges. Dr. Saracino also provides family consultation for behaviour management and social skill development and works with individuals with acquired brain injuries and chronic pain-related difficulties.

    Dr. Saracino provides psychological treatment using a variety of therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) based on the needs of the client or family. She works with individuals struggling with a variety of mental health challenges, including those with mood and anxiety disorders and individuals suffering from Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), including First Responders and healthcare professionals.

    As the Clinical Director of the Lifespan Performance Sports Clinic, Dr. Saracino also provides a breadth of services to athletes of all ages and levels of competition. She provides both individual and group-based treatment to optimize athletic performance and help athletes manage their mental health needs. Dr. Saracino also assists athletes with their return to sport after injury. Through the clinic, she also provides a variety of services and supports to coaches and parents, including group workshops, to foster positive psychological environments for youth athlete development.

    Dr. Saracino is also the Clinical Director of the Lifespan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Clinic. She underwent extensive training in ASD assessment and diagnosis through the world-renowned University of Michigan Autism and Communication Disorders Center (UMACC). Dr. Saracino also worked at the Montreal Children’s Hospital Autism Program while completing her doctoral training. She conducts comprehensive ASD assessments with children, adolescents, and adults using gold standard assessment practices. Dr. Saracino also provides family consultation, social skills training, and counseling supports to individuals on the autism spectrum.
