Dr. Malayna Malleck, Clinical Neuropsychologist (Supervised Practice)
Dr. Malayna Malleck is licensed for supervised practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, specializing in clinical psychology with adults and neuropsychology with children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Malleck completed her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Windsor. She has a breadth of experience working with pediatric and adult populations with a variety of mental health, neurodevelopmental, and learning needs. Dr. Malleck has gained clinical experience across various settings, including Baycrest Hospital (mild cognitive impairment, acquired brain injury), Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare (acquired brain injury, inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient mental health), the University of Windsor (Sports-Related Concussion Centre, neuropsychological assessment, therapy), and various private practices (psychoeducational assessment, neuropsychological assessment, therapy). She has experience providing psychological treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as psychological and neuropsychological assessments with various populations. Dr. Malleck completed her pre-doctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology at Vancouver Coastal Health. She completed rotations providing in serious mental illness, geriatric rehabilitation, transitional pain, neuropsychological services (serving mental health inpatients, older adults, street-involved youth, and individuals living with HIV) and neurosciences.
She has been an associate with Lifespan since 2023, providing Psychological and Neuropsychological services for child, adolescent, and adult clients. She provides integrative therapy which may include aspects of cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and/or brief psychodynamic psychotherapy.
